Girls Soccer Posts Back-to-Back Wins to Remain Unbeaten

The Olympic Heights girls’ soccer team remains undefeated (3-0-2) after posting wins this week behind an attacking offense backed up by strong goaltending from Maddy Miller.

The Lady Lions defeated Sagemont 3-0 on Tuesday, Nov. 3, getting goals from Jamerri Cappello, Lexi Levy, and Jaselyn Cappello. Victoria Lichenthal had two assists in the victory.

The following night, the OH squad crushed the Hebrew Academy of Miami 8-0. The shutout was goalkeeper Miller’s fourth in first five games of the season. Miller has allowed only one goal to date.

Michelle Pinto had two goals and an assist, and Eva Giordano also had two goals in the Wednesday night win. Jaselyn Cappello and Lichenthal each had a goal and an assist, while Jamerri Cappello and Michelle Saucier each tallied a goal.
