12 Olympic Heights Athletes Named to Sun-Sentinel Fall All-County Teams

Olympic Heights defensive end, with defensive coordinator Coach Bee Alfred at the OH 2017 senior night game, was named to the Sun-Sentinel All-County first team. Bruno will play his college ball at Yale University next season.

Olympic Heights defensive end, with defensive coordinator Coach Bee Alfred at the OH 2017 senior night game, was named to the Sun-Sentinel All-County first team. Bruno will play his college ball at Yale University next season.

The Olympic Heights football team had nine players named to the Sun-Sentinel’s 2017 All-County Team including defense end Sebastian Bruno and wide receiver Michael Ippolito who were both named to the all-county first team.

Bruno has committed to play for Yale at the collegiate level while Ippolito is still fielding offers from various colleges.

Tight end Shane Ellis, quarterback James Micioni, and defensive end Chris Dascher were named to the Sentinel’s all-county second team. Receiving Honorable Mentions were Reis Clark, Daniel Dewar, Chaz Eaton, and Troy Jaffee.

Three OH golfers were also recognized as Justin Cao and Brooks Lamb were named to the boys all-county third team, and Jordyn Huberman received an honorable mention for the girls all-county team.
