The opening of a Swedish candy shop in West Boca has brought a new style treat to our community, perfect to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. GoYummy is the largest Swedish candy store in the United States, and it’s the talk of the town. Its grand opening last fall brought lots of traction and many customers fell in love with the sweet treats. Its broad collection of delicacies spans from gummies to chocolates with lots in between. GoYummy’s social media team on Instagram built excitement around the opening, and it was anticipated by many. On the day of the grand opening, a huge line wrapped around the building as hundreds of customers eagerly sought to try the Swedish candies.
GoYummy isn’t like any other ordinary sweet shop; this Swedish candy store specializes in bold flavors, creative combinations, and amazing textures. The candy is shipped from Sweden and the products are non GMO, which is a bestselling feature in a constantly growing health-conscious society. Customers can mix and match candies of their choice in a variety of size options and range of styles. A popular Swedish candy is the Bub, a unique candy with bold flavor and fun shapes. GoYummy has become a viral trend due to their vegan benefits and distinct flavors.
At GoYummy, over 400 Swedish candy options are available for customers to choose from. Employee Naomi Paskin explains the color coded organization and gives details on the gummies, chocolates, and licorice. The layout of the store is astonishing- two big walls are decorated with pick and mix candy, a large section in the middle features mainly Bubs, and a pre-packaged candy/merchandise section is also available to peruse. “I love working at GoYummy because people are always so excited to try Swedish candy for the first time – some even travel to come visit,” exclaims Paskin.
GoYummy specializes in seasonal candy selection and collaborated with The Seed, a local coffee spot, for a Grinchmas matcha, which was a hit. This little taste of Sweden has received tons of great reviews and has brought more to Boca than just candy. Yelp! reviewers rave about this candy shop, rating it 4.5/5, with most describing it as “wonderful” and “amazing” and “delicious.” One comment even noted that the candy store is “like Willy Wonka’s come to life.”
Beckham Vas, a senior at Olympic Heights, is GoYummy’s talented social media manager. He has brought GoYummy to the public in an impressive way that entices the customers and keeps them coming back for more. “As social media manager at GoYummy, it has been wonderful being able to create a community and really grow this brand to a scale I couldn’t even imagine!” Vas says. The popular GoYummy slogan is “Go Yummy Go Happy.” This clever play on words subliminally makes customers associate the delicious candy with joy.
The “Candy King” of GoYummy recently announced that new locations will be opening in Palm Beach Gardens as well as Fort Lauderdale. The opening of these two locations is definitely something to look forward to for the candy connoisseurs of South Florida, and even if you’re new to the world of Swedish Candy, what better place to start than GoYummy!
