Every year, the top 10 students of the senior class are recognized not only for their grades, but for their dedication, leadership, and impact on Olympic Heights High School. These students have spent the last four years taking the highest level and most rigorous classes while also balancing a multitude of extracurriculars. It is time to honor these incredible students for their academic achievements.
Wilson Heffernan holds the number 10 spot and was an avid DECA member throughout high school. He was a competitions director and helped the Olympic Heights DECA team succeed at the district, state, and international levels.
Emilia Leon Flores is ranked ninth in the Olympic Heights senior class. She is the founder and president of K-Pop Club, as well as vice president of both Investment Club and Women in Stem. At spot eight, Mark Ibrahim will be attending the University of Florida and studying finance. He was involved in various extracurriculars at OH, such as track and field, Economics Club, and helping with SAT tutoring.
The seventh spot in the class is held by Dylan Goldberg. Goldberg plans to attend University of Florida and eventually medical school to become a gastroenterologist. He was on both the varsity football and lacrosse teams for four years and became captain of both. He was also a heavily involved member of student government and served as president.
Sara Goldstein is number six in the class and will be attending the University of Florida as a psychology major. Throughout high school, Goldstein held leadership positions in multiple clubs, such as co-president of National Honor Society, vice-president of Best Buddies, and assistant editor of The Torch. She earned over 400 volunteer hours working with special needs kids at the JCC.
Noah Birken holds the fifth spot and will be attending Stanford University. He is currently deciding between several STEM and business majors to eventually start and grow several companies in the future. Birken believes that his tutoring company, which generated 40 million impressions and amassed over 100,000 users, made him stand out the most on his application.
In fourth place, Lucas Safran plans to study political science at the University of Florida and later attend law school. He maintained straight A’s throughout all of high school and was vice president of DECA.
Chase Brown is ranked number three in the class and will be attending Vanderbilt University. During his time at OH, Brown co-founded and became president of Economics Club. He earned the prestigious AP Scholar with Distinction award as well as the College Board National Recognition Program – School Recognition Award. He was also a member of the boys lacrosse team.

Salutatorian Reese Woods has dreamed of being in the top 10 class rankings since freshman year. Woods claims that her academic goals weren’t driven by competition but by spirit and love for learning. She notes that despite her heavy course load throughout high school, the desire to expand on knowledge and academic excellence has been her main motivation. Apart from academics, Woods is involved in many extracurricular activities and clubs that serve the community. She is currently the president of four clubs: Key Club, Students Speak Up For Kids, Rho Kappa, and Psi Alpha. Woods was a tutor for students as well as a camp counselor. She plans to attend the Morehead Honors College at the University of Georgia to focus on neuroscience and eventually become a psychiatrist.

Jack Feuerberg is the Valedictorian of the 2026 senior class of Olympic Heights. Feuerberg credits the book Maid by Stephanie Land, which he read in AP English Language class, as a major catalyst in how he interacts with others. When he started working at Way Beyond Bagels freshman year, he originally just wanted to make extra money. Maid then taught him that a job experience had so much more to offer him. He started asking coworkers questions and realized how much can come from learning about those around him. This experience inspired him to pursue different opportunities. He attended Florida American Legion Boys State and created a financial literacy program called EqualChance Finance. Through these activities, he saw himself grow and continue to work harder. Feuerberg thanks his family for always pushing him and God for giving him opportunities that have helped him chase his dreams, as well as his teachers for allowing him to learn and grow. Feuerberg’s advice for someone with the same goals as him is to focus on your own path, continue to work hard, and push yourself.
These 10 students have worked so hard to get to where they are now, with amazing opportunities, career paths, and experiences that will set them up for success in life. No matter what these Lions encounter, they are strong, resilient, smart, and equipped to handle life’s obstacles. They have made Olympic Heights proud, and we can’t wait to see what your future awaits.
