The cast of the Olympic Heights Theatre Department’s production of Next to Normal goes through a dress rehearsal.

The Olympic Heights Theatre Department is proudly presenting their fall production of Brian Yorkey’s Next to Normal on Oct. 21 at 7:00 p.m., Oct. 22 at 2:00 p.m., and Oct. 23 at 3:15 p.m.  Yorkey, writer of the Netflix hit series 13 Reasons Why, introduces us to a father, mother, and two children all appearing to be a typical American family, yet their lives are anything but normal. This rock musical takes audiences into the minds and hearts of each character, presenting their family’s story with love, sympathy and heart.

Along with a dedicated cast, the plot line of the story itself will have the audience on the edge of their seats. Members of the cast and crew are excited to finally showcase their hard work and dedication to the show. Cast member Brooke Hall states, “I wouldn’t trade the opportunity for anything else, this show has taken me through a journey like nothing else and has made me grow so much as a person.”

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, and $5 for students. Admission is free for OH staff members.  Audiences members for the Oct. 23 show will receive a free slice of pizza with admission while supplies last.
