OH Wrestlers Helping to Pin Alzheimers

Lion Pride was in full force this weekend September 27th, at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Boca Raton as the Olympic Heights wrestling team managed to raise over $700 for the cause.

Twenty-Six wrestlers and parents participated in the two mile walk around Mizner Park and the surrounding areas, showing their support for the efforts to cure Alzheimer’s, a debilitating and fatal neurological disease. This is the second charity event the team has participated in since the OH Relay for Life last year.

The Walk itself is in its second year and managed to raise more than $250,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association of West Palm Beach.
