The Olympic Heights girls soccer team advanced to the district semifinals after a convincing 8-0 victory over host Blanche Ely on a cold Monday Evening. Senior Michelle Pinto lead all scoring with two goals and two assists, while freshmen Valeria Degrossi scored two of her own. Jaselyn Cappello scored a goal and added two assists, and Jamerri Cappello, Makayla Comstock and goalkeeper Maddy Miller each tallied a goal. Miller recorded her county leading 18th shutout. The Lady Lions will take on Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday night with the winner advancing to the district finals.
