OH Theatre Troupe wins big at District X competition

Olympic+Heights+Theatre+Troupe+4992+won+a+total+of+65+awards+at+the+at+the+District+X+competition+held+at+West+Boca+High+School+over+the++Dec.+3+weekend.

Olympic Heights Theatre Troupe 4992 won a total of 65 awards at the at the District X competition held at West Boca High School over the Dec. 3 weekend.

Olympic Heights Theatre Troupe 4992, under the direction of drama teacher Ms. Kimberly Coyle, won 35 Superior Awards, 24 Excellent Awards, and six Critics Choice Awards at the District X competition over the Dec. 3 weekend at West Boca High School.

A total of 57 students represented OH by participating in 60 events during the span of a 13-hour competition. The list of winners is below. 

“While I am proud of their scores, I am more proud of the comradery I continuously see from these driven students,” Coyle commented. “They are always so supportive, classy and professional. So much so that on multiple occasions throughout the day, the judges specifically sought me out to tell me what wonderfully talented and kind students we have here at OH.”
