Two OH Special Olympic Athletes Moving on to States

April 20, 2016

Sam Clingan (left) and Derrick Morgan will be competing at the Special Olympics state finals.

Two Olympic Heights Special Olympic Athletes have qualified to move on the Florida State Games to be held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando. Derrick Morgan will be competing in the 100m and 200m dash with both events will be held on Saturday May 21. Samuel Clingan will be competing in the 50m dash on Friday May 20 and the the softball throw on Saturday, May 21.

The entire Olympic Heights community could not be more proud of our two amazing athletes. Good luck, guys, and GO LIONS!
